We all reach a point in our lives when an event or moment turns us 180 degrees from where we are and pushes us in a totally new direction. For me it was a bad economy forcing the laboratory I was in to close. For my good friend Ann LaGoy it was something just as scary. Several years ago after experiencing acute poisoning by commercial cleaning products Ann was inspired to help others and developed an innovative line of non-toxic cleaning products. In 2003 she founded Sound Earth. Ann incorporated her love of animals into Sound Earth by maintaining no animal testing or animal ingredients be used in the manufacturing or development of its cleaning line. South Earth offers customizable, scented products that are safe for people, pets and the planet.
I first met Ann at Beacon Barks in 2011. Mommy took me because she wanted to let me experience new things and learn about crowds and lots of other doggies. It was a test for me and in the beginning I was super nervous but after some encouraging words from Mommy and some delicious treats I began to feel more at ease. There were a lot of vendors there that day and because we always shop with compassion it was no surprise that we stopped at Sound Earths booth to smell the products and read all the labels. Ann and Mommy hit it off right away and were trying to figure out where they knew each other from. They went on and on forever…. Do you know this one or that one or have you been here or there? No, no, no… Hmm Mommy said maybe you just have one of those faces. Ann then says to Mommy here is my card if you want to order anything. Mommy looked at the card and said, “OH MY GOSH your Ann LaGoy!! This is Juno and you are friends with her on Facebook!!” “This is Juno! OH MY GOSH!” Ann exclaimed. More words and another important introduction to Frank, Sound Earth’s official Muttscot and my on and off again beau.
One of the reasons we love Sound Earth so much is their strong commitment to the welfare of animals, and their support of local and national organizations. Sound Earth donates 10% of all profits to organizations dedicated to the protection, rescue and advocacy of animals.
Sound Earth’s products are all natural and free from harmful chemicals. We have become some of Sound Earths biggest fans and can personally tell you from using their products that they will leave your home smelling fresh and squeaky clean. You will never ever have to worry about harmful fumes or toxic residue as your kids both furry and human can crawl all over the place without worry that toxins will harm them. Yes, Sound Earth loves us all that much! As ambassador for laboratory animals the world over I give Sound Earth a five paw rating! In a one out of four rating that’s pretty goodish.
